Patricia A. Zweizig, 77, of Perry Twp., died Saturday, October 14, 2017 in Maidencreek Place, Maidencreek Twp. She was the wife of John S. Zweizig. They were married October 24, 1959, and celebrated 57 years of marriage.
Born in Stouchburg, she was the daughter of the late George I. and Fern (Balthaser) Rentschler. Pat graduated from Hamburg Area High School, in 1959. She worked as a waitress for F.W. Woolworth, in the Berkshire Mall, for 25 years, and later worked at Boscov's Restaurant, before
retiring in 2006. Pat absolutely loved waitressing and loved all of her customers. She was a former member of Blue Mountain Order of Eastern Star #443, Hamburg. She enjoyed knitting, doing arts and crafts, and adored her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and attending their events.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Jason A., husband of Kris L. (Burdick) Zweizig, Upper Bern Twp.; a daughter, Crystal L. (Zweizig) Hartz, companion of Dan J. Mione, Harrisburg; three grandchildren: Shelby Morris, Ashley Hartz and Austin Zweizig; and two great-grandchildren, Brantley Morris and Colson Morris. She is also survived by a sister, Brenda L. (Rentschler) Boone, Leesport.
Services will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. from Leibensperger Funeral Homes Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
