Alvin V. Keeney, 60, Rehrersburg, died of natural causes April 23, 2008, at home.
Born in Tulpehocken Township, he was a son of the late Herbert and Clara (Behney) Keeney.
He was employed by Empire Steel Castings Co., Laureldale, for more than 40 years.
Surviving are four brothers: Tyrus M. Keeney and wife, Joan, Elizabethtown; LeRoy P. Keeney, Newmanstown; Harry E. Keeney and wife, Susie, Bernville; and Jerry A. Keeney and wife, Geraldine, Newmanstown.
Other survivors include three sisters: Carrie M. Keeney, Mount Aetna; Ada A., wife of Robert Miller, Womelsdorf; and Annie E., wife of Wilmer Beinhower, Ephrata.
Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Hill Funeral Home, Rehrersburg. Burial will be in Strausstown Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
