Potteiger, 91, formerly of Lower Paxton Twp., passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. Born in Shamokin, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Dora (Hummel) Shipp and was the widow of Samuel E. Potteiger. Elizabeth retired as a cook for the Central Dauphin School District with 29 years of service. She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. Surviving are two sons, Marlin of Florida and Samuel Jr. of Harrisburg; three daughters, Geraldine Hodapp of Kansas City, MO, Linda Wagner of Camp Hill and Betsy Ibaugh of Columbus, OH; 28 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 29, at 1: 00 PM at Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 6011 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg. Rev. Donald C. Wetzel will officiate. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation Friday from noon until time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to: The American Cancer Society, 3211 N.
