Verna M. Schoener, 90, formerly of Richland, Lebanon County, died June 18 in Evangelical Congregational Church Retirement Village-Stone Ridge Campus, Myerstown, where she had been a resident for more than a year.
Her husband, Woodrow W. Schoener, died in 1982.
Born in Bethel Township, Lebanon County, she was a daughter of the late William and Ada (Brightbill) Batdorf.
Schoener was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Stouchsburg.
She is survived by two sons, Richard, Bernville, and Karl, Lancaster.
Other survivors include a brother, Earnest Batdorf, Stricklerstown, Lebanon County.
There are also six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Hetrick Funeral Home, Womelsdorf. Burial will be in Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery.
