Dorothy L. Lighty, 73, of 3414 Walnut St., Camp Hill, died Thursday at home.
She was a graduate of the former William Penn High School; a member of Camp Curtin Memorial-Mitchell United Methodist Church, where she was a former secretary, trustee, Sunday school teacher and president of the United Methodist Women's Society; secretary of the National Office of United Christian Ashrams; a recipient of the Honorary Keystone Farmer Degree of the Pennsylvania Association, Future Farmers of America; and co-founder, a director and honorary life member of the Camp Curtin Historical Society/Civil War Round Table, in which she was instrumental in the restoration of the Governor Curtin Memorial and State Park.
Surviving are her husband, Raymond G. Lighty; two sons, Robin of Mechanicsburg and Alan of Tarrytown, N.Y.; and a grandson.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Middletown Cemetery.
Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Lower Paxton Twp., is handling arrangements.
