Howard S. Yiengst, Richland RD 1, died Sunday morning in the Good Samaritan Hospital, where he had been a patient for four weeks. He was 61. Born in Heidelberg Township, Lebanon County, he was a son of the late Frank and Emma Bisson Yiengst. He was a farmer. Yiengst was a member of Zion (Goshert's) United Church of Christ, Mt. Zion, the Mt. Aetna Fire Company, the Community Fire Company, Frystown, the Keystone Fire Company, Rehrersburg, the Union Fire Company, Bethel; the Goodwill Fire Company, Myerstown, and the Northwestern Berks Rod and Gun Club. Survivors include a son, Kenneth O., Bethel RD 1; three grandchildren; four brothers: Leon, Lebanon RD l; Franklin, Lebanon; Edward and Eugene, Myerstown, and a sister, Arlene, wife of Hermit Miller, Myerstown.
