Emma A. Dietrich, 96, Shoemakersville, died June 24, 2007, in the Laurel Center, Tilden Township, where she had resided since January 2005.
She was the widow of Walter Scott Dietrich, who died in 1951.
Emma was born in Maidencreek Township, a daughter of the late Monroe and Eva (Epting) Shaak.
She worked at Merritt Underwear Co. and Wolfe Underwear Co. as a machine operator for many years, last working in 1942.
She was a member of St. Luke’s Church in Shoemakersville.
Surviving are two sons, Robert H., Shoemakersville, and David W., King of Prussia.
Other survivors include three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Marlene S. Dietrich, in 1967.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Luke’s Church, Shoemakersville. Burial will be in St. Luke’s Cemetery. Friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.
