MRS JOHN DEISHER (Hannah) After an illness of four weeks and five days, Mrs. Hannah Deisher, nee Kohler, the highly esteemed wife of John Deisher, residing on Noble St., this borough, died on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., aged 68 years, 5 months and 21 days. Her disease was typhoid fever, complicated with pneumonia. She was doing well until Tuesday of last week, when she suffered a relapse and then gradually sank until she passed away peacefully. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 1:30. Interment will be made in Fairview Cemetery. Rev. J. J. Cressman will conduct the obsequies and will preach the funeral sermon in St. John's Church. Undertakers Gehret & Son have charge of the remains. The pall bearers will be Wm. F. Stimmel, John Hinterleiter, Jerry Stern and Wm. Bieber. Deceased was born and raised in Greenwich Township, near Klinesville, on the farm now owned by Mrs. Wm. Kohler. From there her parents moved to the farm now owned by her brother Jacob, of Greenwich, where she remained until she was married to Mr. Deisher, when they moved to their own farm in Maxatawny, near this town, now tenanted by their son John. Twelve years ago they moved into their pleasant home on Noble Street and resided there ever since. Deceased was the mother of eleven children, two of whom preceded her in death. Her husband and the following children survive: Wm. K. Deisher, of Allentown; Sarah, wife of John Mertz, of Maxatawny, near Lyons; Louisa, wife of Jacob Schwoyer, of Maxatawny, near Kemp's Hotel; Hannah, wife of Reuben Wessner, of Maxatawney, near town; Caroline, wife of Benjamin Druckenmiller, of town; John Deisher, of Maxatawny; Henry H. Deisher, proprietor of the King Knitting Mills, of Town; Lizzie, wife of E. P. DeTurk, hardware merchant, of town, and Chas. K. Deisher, Jr., of town. Mary and Geo. Were the children that preceded her in death. There were three surviving brothers Daniel and Jacob Kohler, of Greenwich, and Jno. Kohler, of Douglasville. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death, Wm. Kohler, of Greenwich; Henry Kohler, of Michigan, and Kate, wife of Isaac Schwoyer, of Greenwich. She leaves 30 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Seven grandchildren are dead.
