Josephine E. Bausher, 91, Windsor Township, died July 22, 2007, at 10:45 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient since July 13.
She was the wife of Rufus L. Bausher, to whom she was married for 73 years on June 12.
Born in Middleport, Pa., she was a daughter of the late John G. and Anna M. (Brasko) Forensky.
She worked at Anthony’s Hosiery in Strausstown for 13 years, folding and pairing hosiery. She last worked at the Hamburg Center as a cook for eight years, retiring in 1978.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.
Josephine was also a member of the Women’s Guild in Tilden Township.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia A., wife of Dean Burkey, Perry Township, and Joan M., wife of Keith Symons, Windsor Township.
Other survivors include three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Tilden Township. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamburg. A viewing will be Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Church, 94 Walnut Road, Hamburg, PA 19526.
