Harry J. Faust, 78, of Deer Lake, died Tuesday morning at his residence.
Born in West Brunswick Township, Dec. 16, 1930, he was a son of the late Guy and Dorothy Frantz Faust.
He was the husband of Dorothy Heisler Faust, to whom he was married 56 years.
Harry served in the Navy and retired as a machinist at Argo.
He was a member of Zion's Red Church, Orwigsburg, and Deer Lake and West Brunswick fire companies.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori S. Anderson, in February 2008.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Carol and Bonnie Faust, both of Landingville; a son, Jeffrey and his wife, Shannon Faust, Auburn; two brothers, Gerald and Vernon Faust, both of West Brunswick Township; a sister, Marion Leiby, Saint Clair; and five grandchildren, Brianna Anderson and boyfriend, Chris Dierwechter, Brady and Kory Faust, and Timothy and Ryan Wood.
A visitation with the family will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Zion's Red Church, 1287 Centre Turnpike, Orwigsburg. A memorial service will be held at the church at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Wanda Schwandt and the Rev. Robert Burkey officiating. Interment will be at Zion's Red Church Cemetery, West Brunswick Township. The family requests donations be made to Pinnacle Health Hospice, 301 One Norwegian Plaza, Pottsville, PA 17901. Condolences may be sent to the family in care of gsesfuneralhomes.com. Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
