Mrs. Ada Beachler dies; was former resident
Word was received here yesterday of the death of Mrs. Ada O. Beachler, who died at her home in Columbia on Monday evening of a complication of diseases. Mrs. Beachler was a former resident of town, having resided on North Union street for many years.
She is survived by her husband, one son, Earl, at home, and one daughter, Miss Kathryn Beachler, of town; three sisters, Mrs. Walter Bitner of Akron, Ohio; Mrs Harry Carr, of Lancaster, and Margaret Books, of Harrisburg. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Books, of Highspire.
The body will be brought to Middletown this morning and funeral services will be held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Beachler, North Union street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. J. M. Shelly, of Columbia, a former pastor of the local Methodist Episcopal Church, will have charge. Burial will be made in the Highspire Cemetery.

Mrs. Ada Beachler, wife of Valentine B. Beachler, died last night at the home of the Misses Wisler, Walnut street, below Fifth street. She was an invalid for many months and death was due to a complication of diseases. She was 44 years old, and is survived by her husband, one son, Earl, of Columbia, and a daughter, Kathryn, of Middletown. Three sisters also survive, Mrs. Bessie Bitner, of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Edna Carr, of Lancaster, and Miss Margaret Books, of Harrisburg. The body will be taken to Middletown tomorrow, where services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of John C. Beachler.
