Antonia Mengel, 69, of Bern Twp. passed away Dec 8, 2012, in Berks Heim where she was a patient for three weeks.
She was the wife of Robert C. Mengel.
She was born in Seville, Spain, on Jan. 27, 2012, a daughter of the late Milagro Rosso Barreras.
She was employed as a seamstress at Wright's Knitting Mill for 20 years and later worked at Berks Heim in Environment Services for 15 years, retiring in 2008.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Robert C. Mengel Jr., husband of Janeen E. Mengel, of Sinking Spring and Timothy Carl Mengel, husband of Cheryl A. Mengel, of Robesonia; a daughter, Christina Marie Mengel, companion of Russell W. Boyer of Shoemakersville; seven grandchildren: Hunter, Lexine, Calan, Haven, Megan, Sebastian and Zachary; and a sister, Loli Garcia of Duggendorf, Germany.
Memorial Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring. Friends and relatives will be received Friday 1 to 2 p.m. Inurnment will be made in Kissinger's Cemetery.
