Dennis Lee Fenstermacher, 60, of 126 Prentis Place, Lancaster, passed away at his residence on Thursday morning, March 5th.
He was the husband of Darlene Gamber Fenstermacher, with whom he celebrated 33 years of marriage this past November 21st. Born in Lititz, Dennis was the son of the late Elmer J. and Arlene Klopp Fenstermacher.
Dennis had worked as a carpenter foreman for Horst Construction for 30 years until his illness.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on S. Duke St. in Lancaster.
A US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, he had served tours of duty in Vietnam and Thailand as a part of the Red Horse Battalion.
Dennis enjoyed woodworking, playing golf, skiing, the beach and playing with Jack, his son Andy's dog.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Andrew John Fenstermacher of East Petersburg, and his daughters, Allison Lee and Ashley Elizabeth Fenstermacher, both of Lancaster.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 1:30-2:30 PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 31 S. Duke St., Lancaster, PA, with the funeral service to follow at 2:30 PM.
