Charles H. "Charlie" Page, 77, of Wernersville, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017, at the Reading Hospital.
He was the husband of Sandra A. (Kiebach) Page, with whom he would have shared 55 years of marriage on May 12th. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Homer H. Page and Marion Hower. He was step-son to the late Thelma Page.
He retired from Herb Motors, Wernersville, in 2001, having previously worked for Rockwell International.
During his retirement, he worked part time for the Highlands at Wyomissing.
He was a lifetime member of Liberty Fire Company, Sinking Spring Fire Company and Citizen's Hose, Wernersville. He was also a current member of Robesonia Fire Company. He was past assistant Chief, past President, and Trustee at Citizen's Hose, and was a volunteer for over 45 years. He was past Captain of the fire police in Wernersville and past Lieutenant at Western Berks Fire Department.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Richard C. Page, husband of Bonnie, Cape Coral, Fla.; a daughter, Debra A., wife of Timothy Bohn, Sinking Spring; two grandchildren, Jamie L., wife of Matthew Zerr, and Nicole B., wife of Jordan Jurkowski; and three great-grandsons: Gavin Zerr, Jordan Jurkowski Jr. and Colby Jurkowski.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 28th, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville, with his pastor, the Rev. Jon A. Fogle, officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
