Dennis Lee Bohn, 69, Green Lane, died Oct. 12, 2008, in Grand View Hospital.
Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Llewellyn and Elsie (Moyer) Bohn.
He was employed as a research biologist with Merck Co., West Point, for more than 43 years until retiring in 2005.
He was a graduate of Wilson High School and Albright College and had an honorary master?s degree from University of Pennsylvania.
He loved studying history and enjoyed growing bamboo.
Surviving are a son, Dmitri Bohn, and his wife, Song'Hee, East Greenville; and two daughters, Lauren A. Gray, Sinking Spring; and Ingrid U. Bohn, Pennsburg.
Other survivors include three brothers: Brian Bohn, Denver, Pa.; Donald Bohn, Reading; and Ronald Bohn, Douglasville; and three sisters: Sylvia Sue Hager, Sinking Spring; Linda Hoelscher, Reading; and Gayle Nuss, Wernersville.
There are also three grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, Nelson.
A graveside memorial service will be Oct. 25 at 11 a.m. in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring.
