Helen Louise Baney, 75, of Victoria Lane, Naples, Fla., formerly of North Fourth Street, Hamburg, died Aug. 24 at 9:24 p.m. in Hospice House North, Naples.
She was the wife of Dr. Charles M. Baney Jr.
Born in Port Clinton, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Robert C. and Mayme E. (Robinhold) Grieff.
Baney was employed in the infirmary at Pennsylvania State University and was also employed by a private physician?s office. She was last employed as supervisor of obstetrical service by Hahnemann Hospital, Philadelphia.
She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Hamburg.
Baney was a 1945 graduate of Hamburg High School and a 1949 graduate of the Reading Hospital School of Nursing.
She was a nursing volunteer at Reading Hospital and for the American Red Cross.
Baney is also survived by a daughter, Louise A. (Baney) Snyder, Naples; and two sons, Charles R., Brodnax, Va., and David E., Flourtown, Chester County.
Other survivors include five grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in First UCC. Burial will be private in St. John?s Cemetery, Hamburg. The Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Hamburg, is in charge of arrangements.
