Lillian M. Arndt, 85, of Longswamp Township died Jan. 31, 2012, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, where she was a patient one day.
She was the widow of Paul W. Arndt who died Aug. 24, 1988.
Born in Richmond Township, she was a daughter of the late Harvey L. and Cecilia L. (Hottenstein) Heinly. She was a member of Christian Congregation Church, Mertztown. She worked as a seat assembler at the former General Seating Company, Topton, from 1970 until its closing in 1987. She then worked as a laborer at GR Laboratory, Topton, from 1987 until her retirement in 2000.
Survivors include sons, David P., husband of Faye D. (Fricker) Arndt, Fleetwood, and Dennis P. Arndt, Mertztown, with whom she resided. In addition, there are two sisters, Perma H. (Heinly), widow of Charles German, Millersville, Lancaster County, and Evelyn I. (Heinly), widow of Richard Gehret, Walnuttown.
There are also two granddaughters, Ashley N. and Amanda D. Arndt. Lillian was predeceased by sisters, Marie C. (Heinly) Keller and Arlene Heinly; and brother, Warren E. Heinly.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with Rev. Dr. Michael P. Combs officiating. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. Friends may call Saturday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.

I am the son of Paul W. and Lillian M. (Heinly) Arndt. I seen that you have my mother listed in the database. I was wondering if you can make a correction. Her birthplace is actually Perry Township, Berks County, PA and not Richmond Township. It was an error that we made and I noticed it after the obituary was printed in the newspaper.
