PALMYRA -- Ella H. Umberger, 80, of the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, formerly of 812 S. College St., died Tuesday in the home.
She retired as a kitchen supervisor from the Lebanon Veterans Affairs Medical Center; was a member of Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, North Londonderry Twp., and the Lebanon County Senior Citizens; and a former member of the Rebena Club, Lebanon. She was active in senior citizen activities and enjoyed traveling.
She was the widow of Cloyd K. Umberger. Surviving are two sons, Richard H. of Palmyra and Cloyd W. of Norfolk, Va.; a daughter, Lucetta E. Patches of Harrisburg; two brothers, Frank Smith of Lancaster and Raymond Smith of Cedar Haven, Lebanon; a sister, Mary Umberger of Palmyra; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Rothermel Funeral Home, Palmyra. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, North Londonderry Twp.
