Patricia L. Umberger, age 76, Hershey, died Tuesday, May 17, 2005 in the Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, PA. Born on August 10, 1928 in Blairsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Kathryn Patterson. She was a retired business partner with her husband of 72 years, Hobart W. Umberger, a well known Hershey restaurateur, who preceded her in death in 1990. She enjoyed sharing in the successful ownership and management of two Hobart's Restaurants in Hershey and the Old Millardsville Hotel in Myerstown. Patricia was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Eastern Star. Upon retirement, she enjoyed many years with her friends playing bridge and going to the beach in Ocean City, MD. Surviving in addition to her brother, John (Jack) Patterson of Potomac, MD are a sister-in-law, Pat Patterson; two step daughters-in-law, Ms. Janet Poorman and Jeri McMahon and 6 step granchildren, Matthew McMahon, Lee Mc Mahon, Fred Poorman, Michael Poorman, Suzanne Unger, Kristi Keating and 2 nieces Kathryn Anne Patterson and Karen Lynn Patterson. Memorial Thursday, June 2 at Derry Presbyterian Church, Hershey. Patricia will be interned with her husband at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
