Fern E. Kauffman, 83, Blandon, died July 23 in St. Joseph Medical Center.
She was the wife of Richard H. Kauffman.
Born in Shillington, she was a daughter of the late George D. and Esther (Feichtinger) Heck.
Kauffman was employed for nine years as a clerk by Reading/Berks Credit Bureau. She also was employed for 20 years in the concession stands by the Reading Phillies.
She was a member of First United Church of Christ where she served as secretary of the Senior Center and also taught Sunday school.
Kauffman was a graduate of Shillington High School.
She also is survived by a son, Craig R. Kauffman, Emmaus; and a daughter, Marcia (Kauffman) Newcomb, Blandon.
Other survivors include a sister, Louise (Heck) Dundore, Gouglersville; and two brothers, Kenneth Heck, Wyomissing, and Frederick Heck, Leesport.
There are four grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Henninger Funeral Home Inc., the Rev. Mark D. Dewald officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
