"On the twelfth day of December same year before the same judges upon the petition of Polly Keim widow and relict of Solomon Keim late of the township of Richmond Berks County. Setting forth that the Solomon Keim died leaving issue six children, to wit: Thomas, Lovina, Polly, Susanna, Sarah & Lydia Keim all of whom are minors under the age of fourteen years and have no Guardians to take care of their persons or estates. therefore praying the Court to appoint some proper person as Guardian for the purpose aforesaid. whereupon the Court appointed Michael Hofman as Guardian for said minor children."
