Helen F. Moyer, centenarian
Helen F. Moyer, 103, formerly of Reading, passed away Feb. 9, 2007, at 3:15 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services, Lebanon, where she was a patient since Aug. 23, 2004.
She was the wife of Oliver S. Moyer, who passed away May 28, 1988.
Born in Auburn, she was a daughter of the late Herbert C. and Alice (Mengel) Strause.
Surviving are a daughter, Virginia C. (Moyer), wife of John A. Czarnecki, Lebanon; and a son, Stewart W. Moyer, Brookings, S.D.
Other survivors include seven grandchildren, 14 greatgrandchildren and two greatgreat-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Tuesday at noon in the chapel of Laureldale Cemetery. Friends will be received Tuesday 11 a.m. to noon in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Foundation, Berks County Chapter, 501 Washington St., Reading, PA 19601. Bean Funeral Home, Sinking Spring, is in charge of arrangements.
