Cloyd O. Doster, 82, Lebanon, died March 20, 2007, in ECC Retirement Village-Albright Campus, Myerstown.
He was the husband of Ella A. (Firestine) Doster, who died Oct. 1, 2004.
Born in Lancaster on Feb. 13, 1925, a son of the late Alvin and Elsie (Ober) Doster, he served in the Army during World War II.
He was employed by Calcite Quarry, Lebanon, for 29 years, retiring in 1989.
He was a member of Tulpehocken UCC, Richland; and a lifetime member of Womelsdorf VFW, Mount Aetna Fire Company and Kutztown Fire Company. He enjoyed watching baseball.
He is survived by a stepson, Robert, husband of Cindy Siegfried, Richland; and a son-in-law, Robert, husband of Margaret Yiengst, Myerstown.
Other survivors include five sisters: Hazel Bashore, Newmanstown; Fern Behney, Myerstown; Arnetta, wife of Malcolm McMichael, New Tripoli; Katie Killian, Reinholds, and Patricia, wife of Mark Gibble, Richland; and three brothers: Melvin, husband of Mae Doster; Harlan, husband of Josephine Doster, and Gerald Doster, all of Newmanstown.
There are four step grandchildren, three step greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Viewing at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Host Cemetery, Bernville.
