Carol Anne Wagner, 71, of Wyomissing, passed away on August 18, 2017, in the Reading Hospital.
She was the widow of Charles O. Wagner who passed away on February 25, 2016. They were married on July 28, 1973.
Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late William and Pearl (Deiter) Aungst.
Carol Anne was a 1965 graduate of Pine Grove High School and later achieved her bachelor's degree in business.
She was employed by Brown Engineering for almost 50 years as an office manager. She also worked at Bon-Ton for over 20 years.
She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.
Carol Anne was an extremely strong woman who loved to travel. She would always put her loved ones' needs in front of her own. What mattered most to her was her family. She was a loving wife and devoted mother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children: Charles O. Wagner, Craig A. Wagner and Cheryl A. Wagner, all of Wyomissing, and Thomas A. Aungst, New Bedford, Mass.; and two grandchildren: Alan and Noah Aungst, New Bedford, Mass. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Tootsie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 24, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola R. C. Church, 2810 St. Alban's Drive, Whitfield.
Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
