sabel M. Altemus February 26, 1940 November 30, 2014 Isabel M. Altemus, 74, of Woodland passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014, at Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital. She was born on February 26, 1940, in Osceola Mills, the daughter of the late Edward and Isabel (Test) Williams. On August 23, 1958, she married Rev. Harold D. Altemus at the Gospel Tabernacle Church in Philipsburg, he survives. She was a graduate of Philipsburg Osceola High School, Eastern Bible Institute of the Assembly of God and attended Penn State University for a teaching certificate. Isabel went on to work for Captains Table Restaurant, Brody';s as their top seamstress, taught at the Clearfield Vo Tech School, and as a clerk at David Wigfield &; Associates, CPA. She attended Christian Missionary and Alliance Church, the Joy of Living Bible Study, and was a member of the OWLS. Her hobbies included sewing and cooking. Isabel is survived by her six children: Joseph Altemus, of Colorado, H. Dean Altemus Jr. and his wife Marcia, of Clearfield, Sandra and her husband, David Wigfield, of State College, Bruce Altemus, of Texas, Daniel and his wife, Rhonda Altemus, of Newport and Robert Altemus, of Texas; 16 grandchildren: Zackary, Zane, Bridget, Justen and his wife, Lacy, Jon and his wife, Christina, David and his wife, Toya, Phillip, Bethany, Ryan, Jeremy and his wife, Kirsten, Julie, Daniel, Courtney, Kayla, and Robbie; nine great grandchildren; two brothers: Ronald and his wife, Maryann Williams, of W.Va., and Jack and his wife, Ruth Williams, of Woodland; and a sister, Carol Cartwright, of Philipsburg. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a granddaughter, Brittany Altemus. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2014, at the Christian Missionary Alliance Ch-urch with Dr. Duane A. White and Rev. Richard Goldenburg officiating. Burial will be in Bradford Cemetery. Friends will be received for visitation from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc.
