Transcription of the 1753 Andreas Shade land deed
This Indenture made the 20 day of July 1753 between George Zacharias of Bern and County of Berks yeoman of the one part and Androw Shade of the same place of the
other part -
Whereas the said George Zacharias having bought one improvement of John Ebert
Situate in Bern township and County of Berks for which said John Ebert having obrtained a warrent from the Propritaris bearing date about the 29 ofOctober 1747 to
take up 50 acres of land as by their agreement will appear as also the said George Zacharias having obtained a warrent from the Propritaris bearing date about the 9 day of June 1752 to take up twenty five acres of land in Tulponhoccon township and Berks County adjoining the above the said John Ebert and George Zacharias having performed
the several articles mentioned so farr. Now this Indenture witneseth that the said George Zacharias in considedration of the sum of 50 (?) pounds to him in hand paid by the said Androw Shade the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted bargained and
sold and by this present doth grant bargain and sell and confirm unto the said Androw Shade his heirs and assigns all the above mentioned 75 acres in the two warrents be the
same more or less togather with all the houses buildins and other improvements thereon and apportenances there unto belonging eighter surveyd or to be surveyd and laid out by virtue of the said warrents And the said Androw Shade doth hereby covenent promiss and agree to perform and fulfill further the several articles oand conditions mentioned in the said warrnts In witness whereof the said George Zacharias to these present have set his hand and seal the day and year above
