The name of "Oliver" was a misinterpretation of the weathered inscription on John Freeman/Frieman's tombstone by Milton Blatt, published in his Belleman's Church Cemetery book. The father of John Freeman/Frieman is in fact George Freeman, son of Casper Freeman, both of which are documented elsewhere in your records here. This connection between John and father George has been confirmed in Estate papers of Casper Freeman as well as the Will of George Freeman, who named John, his eldest son, as Co-Executor, along with the widow Elizabeth (Gerhart) Freeman. I have photos of John Freeman/Frieman's tombstone if you would like to see Milt's error in judgment. Once you know what the name is supposed to be, it's easy to see the fancy engraving spells out "Georg", not "Oliver". In all of my research on this family, I have never found an individual named Oliver Freeman.
