Gloria Wynn (nee Byram) Hiester, later to become Rachel Levine, and Rachel Sichveland, died on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at age 83 in Philipsburg, Montana where she had resided for the last 22 years. She was born in 1938 in Richmond, Virginia, the daughter of Lillie Lee (nee Collis) Byram and Charles H. Davis of Martinsburg, West Virginia. In 1942, at four years of age, her mother divorced Mr. Davis and married Stanley A. Byram who adopted her. The new family took up residence in Mount Penn, (Pennside), Lower Alsace Township, near Reading, PA. Gloria graduated from Mount Penn High School, Class of 1956. She was named most attractive in her high school yearbook, and was Prom Queen with a radiant smile and presence. She is survived by a younger half-brother, Stanley Byram, who lives in South Carolina with his wife Barbara. She is survived by two nephews. Gloria was married to Carl Alan Hiester of Reading, PA for 11 years and they had three children together: Mark A. Hiester of Lancaster County, PA; Sally A. Warren of Chester County, PA; Christopher D. Hiester of Philadelphia County, PA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren. She was married to Morris Levine (who predeceased her) of Baltimore, MD for 28 years and they had one child together: Joshua Levine of Los Angeles County, CA. They also raised two adopted sons, Michael Levine (who predeceased her) and Alan Levine of Los Angeles County, CA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren. She was most recently married to Dirk Sichveland of Philipsburg, Montana where they enjoyed over 20 years of happiness. Rachel and Dirk created many wonderful memories with their Montana family and friends. Rachel was very close to her beloved mother in law, Lou Ann Sichveland (who predeceased her), and Krista Sichveland, her sister in law. They had many hours of laughs and fun with her niece Ashley Hill and the newest addition to the family, her great niece Lorelei whom she loved to see. Over her lifetime she worked in the real estate, insurance, personnel/recruitment and professional relocation industries. She was a purveyor of fine art, architecture and fashion, and her children remember fondly her sense of style. Rachel?s remains are in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home, in Philipsburg, Montana, where funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 4, 2022 at 11 o?clock a.m..
