  [S2] Reading Eagle, 10 Aug 2005. Orville L. Phillips, 83, Wernersville, died Aug. 8 at 1:45 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient one day. He was the husband of Elizabeth M. (Eick) Phillips. Born in Lambertville, N.J., he was a son of the late Albert S. and Florence H. (Higgins) Phillips. Phillips was the owner-operator of the Snyder Fuel Service, Three Bridges, N.J., for 24 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of Zion (Blue Mountain) United Church of Christ, Strausstown. Phillips was a 32nd degree mason of Vaux Lodge 406, F&AM, Hamburg. He is also survived by a son, James E., Tilden Township; and a daughter, Mary S. (Phillips) Stricker, Wernersville. Other survivors include a sister, Helen (Phillips) Stenabaugh, Westminster, Md. There are also six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Janet M. Phillips, in 1995. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Leibensperger Funeral Homes Inc., Hamburg. Burial will be in Three Bridges Cemetery.
