Geraldine "Geri" F. Zimmerman, 81, formerly of Womelsdorf, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022. She was the loving wife of Arthur W. Zimmerman, with whom she shared 30 years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald J. Hartman who passed away in 1976. Geri, a daughter of the late Carl W. and Grace E. (Zerbe) Binkley, was born in Ephrata. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Lisa R., wife of Ronald L. Erdman; two stepdaughters, Cindy A. Frey, and Joan, wife of Alan Schaetzle; a sister, Arlene M. Noll; five grandchildren, Maggie Erdman, Drew Frey, Christopher Frey, Heather Smeltz, Gregory Schaetzle; and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy C. Binkley; and two sisters, Sara A. Warden, and Elizabeth J. Ruppert. She was a graduate of Cocalico High School. Geri worked as a laborer in the warehouse at Gloray Knitting Mills, and most recently as a hostess at Noll?s Keystone House. Geri was an avid sports fan, she loved all Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Eagles and Phillies. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be held at noon on Friday, May 6, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home. A viewing will be held at 10:30 AM until the time of services, at the funeral home.
