William H. Wagner, 72, died of natural causes Nov. 23 at 3:35 a.m. in his residence on Plum Creek Road, Penn Township.
He was the husband of Salinda J. (Shirk) Wagner.
Born in Bernville, he was a son of the late Harrison W. and Elsie (Nagle) Wagner.
Wagner was a self-employed farmer in Penn Township, retiring in 1978. He was last employed on the paint line by Hoffmann Industries Inc., Sinking Spring.
He was a member of St. Thomas United Church of Christ, Bernville.
Wagner was a former director of the farmers cooperative in Muhlenberg Township.
He is also survived by two sons, Douglas R., Wernersville, and William H. Jr., Robesonia; and two daughters, Brenda A. (Wagner) Reich, Oley, and Connie L. (Wagner) Lutz, Bernville.
Other survivors include a brother, Mahlon, Shoemakersville; and two sisters, Marguerite (Wagner) Stertzel, Bernville, and Emma (Wagner) Kline, Hamburg.
There are also 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery, Bernville.
