Dennis L. Adams, 63, of Myerstown, died Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.
He was the husband of Cindy D. (Parmer) Adams, to whom he would have been married 39 years on February 7. Born in Reading on October 7, 1950, he was the son of Sallie M. (Wenrich) Adams of Myerstown and the late Junior I. Adams.
A 1969 graduate of Tulpehocken High School, he was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Myerstown. He loved his Harley motorcycle and enjoyed hunting, camping, and fishing.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Keith, husband of Kathy Parmer, of Orwigsburg; a granddaughter, Randa Parmer; a sister, Bonnie, wife of Rick Koller, of Fredericksburg; brothers Donald "Grizz" Adams of Ohio; Noel, husband of Linda Adams, of California; Bobby, husband of Maryanne Adams, of Kentucky; Kevin Adams of Womelsdorf; Darryl Adams, companion of Maryanne, of Bethel; John Adams Jr. of Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Heister.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will be in Friedens Memorial Park, Myerstown.
