Mrs. Gladys M. Killian, 87, of Red Dale Road, Orwigsburg, died Sunday while in the company of family members at her residence.
Mrs. Killian was born in Cressona, Aug. 2, 1924, a daughter of the late Lloyd Aungst and Helen Ebert.
She attended Cressona High School and was a homemaker and farmer.
She was raised in the Protestant faith and was a member of the Schuylkill County Agricultural Museum and the New Ringgold Fire Co.
She was the widow of Earl James Killian.
Gladys was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda M. Walborn, July, 11, 2003; a grandson, Nathan D. Killian in 1987; two brothers, Richard and Floyd Aungst.
She is survived by her sons, Mark J., widower of Nancy Killian, New Ringgold and Richard E., husband of Diane Killian, Orwigsburg; a daughter Cynthia, wife of Robert Felty, Orwigsburg; a brother, Theodore, husband of Margaret Aungst Benton; seven grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and also from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday from Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg. Religious services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg. Interment will follow in Kimmels Cemetery Orwigsburg.
