Cindy L. Wanner, 63, of Womelsdorf, died Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.
Born in Lebanon, Pa., on October 6, 1953, she was the daughter of Shirley M. (Rupp) Hassler, of Stouchsburg, and the late Harold E. Hassler.
A 1971 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School, she also graduated Millersville University in 1975, where she received her Bachelor's in Education.
Cindy was employed as a receptionist at Wenger's of Myerstown for almost 10 years. She was also employed as a clerk at the CR/Hess Express, Richland.
Cindy was a member of Zion's & St. John's Reed's Lutheran Church, Stouchsburg. She enjoyed taking care of her family, attending craft shows, watching TV, decorating for holidays and going on motorcycle rides.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Kristy Wanner, of Whitehall, Pa.; a son, Ric, husband of Haley Wanner, of Richland; her boyfriend, Dan Richardson, of Stewartstown, Pa.; brothers: Richard Hassler, of Stouchsburg, Jessie, husband of Ann Hassler, of Newmanstown, Alan, husband of Cindy Hassler, of Schaefferstown; a sister, Sandy, wife of Robert Warner, of Newmanstown; fur grandbabies: Boonie, Gabby, and Obi-Wanner; and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, on Monday, November 14th, 2016, at 9 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11 a.m.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
