Irvin M. Kamp, 67, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday at his residence.
Irvin was born in Pottsville, July 8, 1950, a son of the late Franklin and Esther Koch Kamp. He was the husband of Patricia A. Sanza Kamp. They married on April 11, 1970.
Irvin graduated from Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1968. He was a lifetime member and fireman of Rainbow Hose Company, Rajah Shrine, Schuylkill Shrine and Masonic Lodge No. 138. Irvin enjoyed hunting, fishing, car racing and camping with his family. During his life, he drove truck for Alpha Mills and owned Kamp Cleaning Service.
He was preceded in death June 4, 2017, by his son, David Kamp, whom he missed dearly.
In addition to his wife of 47 years, Patricia, Irvin is survived by his daughter, Gloria, wife of Michael Donatti; grandson, Tyler Donatti and wife, Kaitlyn; great-grandson, Tyler Jr.; his sister, Clara, wife of Herman Berkheiser; nieces and nephews.
Public viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Orwigsburg. At 8 p.m. a Masonic Lodge service will be conducted by Orwigsburg Masonic Lodge No. 138 F&AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hillside SPCA, P.O. Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901, Masonic Lodge No. 138, 1000 E. Market St., Orwigsburg, PA 17976, or Rainbow Hose Company, 417 Dock St., Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972 Interment will be private.
