Marlene J. Henn, 89, of Berks Leisure Living and formerly of Hamburg, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 in the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of John E. Henn who died March 13, 2012. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Paul Clemmer and Mary F. Kerns. She was a 1949 graduate of Ontelaunee High School. Marlene worked as an activity leader for the Berks Heim. She was also a foster mother to nine infants. Marlene previously attended Hamburg Bible Church and currently attended High Point Baptist Chapel, Geigertown. She was a member of Central Berks Lions Club, Centerport and the Women of the Moose, Hamburg. Marlene was a 4-H leader and a Boy Scout Troop leader. She was an avid reader, crafter and baker. Marlene is survived by two daughters: Rosemary J. (Henn) Reppert, Acworth, Georgia; and Sandra A. (Henn) Price, Reading; daughter-in-law: Hannah (Scales) Pierce, Sinking Spring; five grandchildren: Jacob A. Henn, Rachel M. Henn, Jeremy J. Price, Melissa (Reppert) Rentas; and Katie Reppert; and four great-grandchildren: Rylie, Reagan, Emmaline and Ellie Kate Price. She was predeceased by a son: Larry L. Henn, who died in 1989. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
