David "Dave" Wagner passed away at home peacefully in his favorite recliner on January 3, 2024.
He was born on January 31, 1946 in Lebanon, Pa to the late Elsie Irene Sholley nee Wagner and late Thomas James Albert Jr.
He was a proud veteran and a huge Elvis Presley fan. Anyone who walked into the house could clearly see that by his many Elvis treasures all over the home including his lamp of Elvis' head. He had a love for all things movies or music and loved to listen to his records and dance when not watching TV or reading. He also very much enjoyed cooking, baking and entertaining for most of his life. From huge family cookouts, holiday parties, and Sunday dinners Dave's cooking was always top notch. He had many friends and friends that became family over the years from sitting on the front porch, going to places around town, and more. In his later years he enjoyed family visits (especially the nieces and nephews), cookouts, parades, sitting on the porch, and taking naps in his recliner.
Surviving are his life partner Dennis Strausser, sister Faith Sholley, brother Mark Sholley, nieces Heather Sholley spouse to Randy Prestridge, Andrea Dunlap spouse to Bobby Beaver, great nieces and nephews Alexander, Randy Jr, Hunter, Connor, Madeline, and Rebeka, his sister in love Kathleen Drzewiecki nee Strausser spouse to Leo Drzewiecki and many loving cousins.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his mother by his stepfather Frank Kline; brother James (Jim) Wagner, and brother in love Paul Hammer.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lebanon Gospel Center, 27 N. 10th Street, Lebanon. Memorial services will be on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lebanon Gospel Center.
