Barrie L. Lindenmuth Sr., 71, Reading, died July 13, 2008, in Spruce Manor, West Reading.
Lindenmuth suffered a stroke April 30, 2008.
He was the husband of Elverta A. (Fick), whom he married Sept. 20, 1955, in Elkton, Md., before the Rev. Sturgill.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late George F. and Pauline H. (Price) Lindenmuth.
He was a self-employed roofer and last worked for several area businesses as an electrician.
He was a member of Isaac Hiester Lodge 660, F&AM; Scottish Rite and Rajah Temple, where he was a member of the string band.
He was a member of the Electrical Association of Reading and TPA.
He also is survived by a son, Barrie L. Lindenmuth Jr., husband of Darla, Adamstown.
Other survivors include two granddaughters, Jennifer, wife of Andrew Horst and Kimberly Lindenmuth; and a great-grandson, Josiah Horst.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Henninger Funeral Home Inc., 229 N. Fifth St., Reading. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Township. Viewing will be tonight 7 to 9 and Thursday, one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Isaac Hiester Lodge 660 masonic service will be Wednesday at 8 p.m. www.henningerfuneralhome.com
